Curtis just completed eight (8) years as a Senior Account Executive with the Chicago Bulls organization.
Curtis created over $15 Million in sponsorship sales during the Bulls 2006-2014 regular seasons. Curtis was responsible for promoting the entire line of integrated marketing solutions to businesses and targeted accounts throughout the Chicago land region. Some of Curtis’ clients included McDonald’s, Adidas, Transunion, Magellan, BMO Harris Bank, Ariel Investments, Mesirow Financial, Illinois Lottery, Horseshoe Casino, Majestic Star Casino, Great Clips, and more. Curtis also represented the Bulls in the community via speaking engagements.
Curtis began his career at Six Flags Great America as an account executive in Institutional Advertising and won the top sales award five out of six years.
Curtis was promoted to Regional Sales Manager in 1986 and provided leadership, training, and direction to a team of six (6) account executives and developed expertise and built a top-performing team which successfully achieved sales goals across all metrics for three consecutive years.
In 1988, Curtis joined V-103 and other Clear Channel media outlets and commenced selling commercial radio airtime and sponsorships to businesses, non-profit groups, and advertising agencies throughout Chicago land and Lake/Will Counties. He built new accounts by developing vital relationships with brand managers, retail leaders, media buyers, concert promoters, and banks’ community relation executives. Over 18 years, Curtis developed, cultivated, and maintained $21 million by penetrating new markets and focusing on accounts with significant Growth potential.
